`IllustratedEye - I became a professional photographer, photo-journalist and photo-artist in 1980 and I agree the original photo-artist should have been credited. But I am also an artist in several different mediums and see much talent here, with room to grow.
BUT your feedback seemed very rude and extremely unprofessional in how it was worded. A Maestro would have provided some educational benefit to us all. A Professional Artist might have not said much. An Amateur might not even recognize a learning moment. But a Amateur critic, usually one petty and jealous of other talent might be as rude as you were. I certainly hope you did not intend to be so rude..

You need to credit your references. I think it's rude to not credit the photographers who in truth created the original artwork. Your skills are good for lines/color/shadings but your creativity is lacking, you are only copying the works of others.
